Black and White Fine Art Film Photography

“Black and white film photography evokes a classic, ageless look that never goes out of style. Without color, black and white photography highlights contrasts, tones, and textures, often leading to a more profound emotional connection. Each photograph is a distinct creation, influenced by the manual decisions you need to make, the scene lighting, and film type, creating a one-of-a-kind art piece, which is what I strive to do.”

I create fine art photography using single images and mixed media consisting of multi-exposure, sculptures, watercolor, photo oils, and more. Everything is done using film and analog media. None of my work is computer-generated or edited.

Most of my current work is done on large format film. I develop my negatives and print to conservation grade fine art textured cotton papers using pigmented inks. Each print is treated with UV protection spray.

I use museum-quality conservation-grade materials for prints and frames. The framing is assembled by myself using Italian and US molding, conservation matting, conservation backboard, and museum-grade acrylics.

I usually do not crop my images so I sell in two sizes. 12x18 for images taken with 35mm and 6x9 medium format film and 16x20 for images taken on 4x5 film. These sizes use common size frames. If you want other sizes, contact me and I will try and accomodate. Each print is signed, numbered, and includes a certificate of authenticity.

I ship prints in flat boxes so that they are not curled when you recieve them. Shipping is more, but it is worth it.

Each numbered framed piece is signed and includes a Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity with a watermark, fluorescent security fibers, and matching numbered holograms on the certificate and the photograph. I ship them in custom packaging as protective as I can and insure for the full amount paid.

All of my work is available for corporate art sales. Contact me for more information.

The entire process is done by me from bulk loading of film to developing, printing, framing, packaging, and shipping.

If you see an image of mine not listed on the site for sale, I can print or print and frame it for you upon request. If there is a piece you like and would like a different frame and matting option, please contact me and I can accommodate you.
